Holland reappointed FSA complaints chief

The FSA has reappointed Sir Anthony Holland as independent complaints commissioner for a second term.

The complaints commissioner acts independently to ensure the FSA's accountability under the Financial Services and Markets Act. The commissioner has the power to investigate allegations of mistakes and lack of care, unreasonable delay, unprofessional behaviour, bias and lack of integrity. Holland succeeded Rosemary Radcliffe in September 2004. Radcliffe Rosemary became the FSA’s first complaints commissioner since the complaints scheme’s September 2001 inception.
