Aberdeen Asset Management has appointed James Laing as head of pan-European equities.
Laing, who will report to head of equities Hugh Young and be supported by a 20-strong team, is currently a senior investment manager at the company. He will replace Chou Chong, head of the team for the past five years, who has relocated to Singapore to work with the Asia Pacific regional team.
