Perspective completes sixth IFA acquisition since April

IFA consolidation vehicle Perspective Financial Group has acquired Newcastle-based adviser Rutherford Wilkinson.

Perspective says Rutherford's strong annual revenue and focus on recurring income made it the ideal candidate for purchase and has boosted the group's turnover to £8m, while pushing adviser numbers beyond 40. Rutherford, which has 16 advisers, will continue to trade under its current name, Perspective says, while the existing management team will remain in place. "The essence of our company is that we don't touch the [acquired] business at all," Damian Keeling, managing director of Perspective Financial Group, says.
