IFA Skerritt acquires London-based Huntington Investments

Brighton and Hove-based Skerritt Consultants has achieved its objective of finding an office in the capital with the purchase of Huntington Investments.

The acquisition of the London-based IFA is the second this year for Skerritt, following its acquisition of Shoreham-by-Sea-based adviser Watkins Oram earlier this month, which boosted its client base to 25,000. Andrew Merricks, Skerritt's investment director, says the move is good for them as a "big proportion" of the firms business now comes from London.
