Channel Islands-based Aztec Group will open an office in Luxembourg next month.
Aztec provides comprehensive fund administration services to venture capital, private equity and real estate funds. The Luxembourg office will be headed up by James Bermingham, an existing member of the Jersey team. Bermingham will continue his responsibilities as group general counsel, in addition to his role as director of the Luxembourg office. The Aztec Group was founded in Jersey six years ago and now employs over 50 staff across its Jersey, Guernsey and Luxembourg offices. It currently has in excess of €9bn under administration.
