Old Mutual harnesses Skandia's operations for South African market

Old Mutual has brought in Skandia's investment management operations to improve the fund range available to South Africans keen to invest offshore.

Local investors will be able to access more international funds and benefit from Skandia’s multi-manager experience, according to Old Mutual. Old Mutual International, the offshore business of Old Mutual, has revamped its range of in-house funds in order to take advantage of its stablemate Skandia Investment Group’s investment research and fund manager selection process, said the company. Available to investors in its Life Account offshore investment product, OMI’s Core funds are offered alongside a specialist fund range of third-party links.
