Anthony Bolton heads speaker list at Morningstar conference

Legendary fund manager Anthony Bolton will be among the speakers at this year's Morningstar Conference, which takes place on 21 and 22 May at the Hilton London Metropole.

The ex-Fidelity Special Situations manager will join Richard Plackett of BlackRock to discuss the outlook for UK equities. Bolton will use his long experience in UK markets to explore when a top-down view can add value to a bottom-up investment approach, whilst Plackett will focus on the investment environment in the small and mid-cap arenas. Philip Coggan, capital markets editor of the Economist will be moderating the Executive Panel debating the biggest challenges and opportunities facing asset managers in Europe.
