HSBC launches offshore capital protection funds

Two offshore capital protection funds have been launched by HSBC Investments International.

The funds are available to UK resident non-domiciles and are also registered for sale in select countries in the Middle East and Asia. The Healthcare Bonus fund offers exposure to 18 healthcare-related stocks and the potential for a bonus to be paid at each anniversary over the three year life of the product. The bonus will be the average growth of each in each of the stocks over the past year and is capped at 14% for sterling, 11.5% for dollar and 9% for euro investors The BRIC Growth fund offers exposure to Brazil, Russia, India and China and has between 60-110% exposure to the return ...
