Fund launches continue to inundate property market

The slew of launches into the increasingly crowded property fund market is set to continue, with offerings from Insight, Henderson and Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (Swip) as well as smaller groups Buckles and Colliers Capital. Insight Investment has bought a £300m property portfolio from British Land and plans to use the portfolio to seed a UK residential fund for launch later this year, to be run by Tim Watts.
