Funds Library, a centralised source of mutual fund data and documents for the UK market, has gone live and can be accessed via the internet. While the library has been available to fund supermarkets since last year the site, at www.fundslibrary.co.uk, is now open to all advisers, journalists and other investment professionals with free registration. Originally born out of Hargreaves Lansdown, with the idea first touted in 2003, the service is now a separate enterprise, with Hargreaves' Vantage supermarket platform among its key clients, said Funds Library managing director Stuart Louden. ...
