Offshore IFA Towry Law International (TLI) is closing to new business while at the same time it finds itself the target of legal action from two groups of investors for alleged mis-selling. Investors' claims, which could total up to £300m, primarily centre around the collapse of two Hong Kong-based funds run by Asia Financial Asset Management and the poor performance of certain geared with-profits products.
