A new report by Euro-Performance and EDHEC has named Bankinter as Spain's best asset manager on an alpha generation basis. Based on an assessment of risk-adjusted performance (alpha) as well as a consideration of both performance persistence and the risk of extreme loss, the Alpha League Table gave the Spanish bank a score of 1.49. This was calculated from alpha generated of 3.22% with frequency of alpha of 46.79%. The average alpha generated in Spain was 2.08%, below the European average of 2.48%.
