Two new funds from Axa IM

Axa Investment Management is to launch an opportunistic European fund using long/short, distressed and other strategies, and a global emerging markets hedge fund later this year. Both funds are currently being run in-house but will be opened to external investors in the coming months. Axa LF, a long/short and distressed fund investing in Europe, is managed by Karim Flitti. Flitti joined Axa IM in 2000, having worked previously for Morley, DLJ and Paribas Capital Markets in London.
