Four out of ten NHS patients are not aware that they could have a say in the decisions made about their own treatment and operations, says Mori research commissioned by BUPA. According to the data on over 2,000 people in the UK, over 40% of those questioned were unable to say what 'Patient Choice' means when it comes to the National Health Service, because they were not even aware of a government initiative to give patients a greater influence over the time and place of their treatment.
