Clerical Medical is offering a critical yield calculator to IFAs to aid them in assessing the viability of pension transfers. The calculator, which can be accessed through the group's website, will allow an IFA to generate critical yield in minutes. David Flint, sales development executive at Clerical Medical, said: "This allows intermediaries to see if a pension transfer is viable before meeting with their clients. They would still have to complete a further analysis and it is not enough to recommend a transfer but this allows them to do a first fact find, an initial investigation." ...
