M&G is to launch a global healthcare fund in the fourth quarter, adding to its range of thematic funds. The group has appointed Marjan Daeipour as fund manager of the healthcare portfolio. Daeipour joins the group from JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management where she managed the European element of the Fleming Global Life Sciences Fund, in addition to analysing the biotechnology sector on a global basis.
