By James Thorneley Dunedin Smaller Companies trust performance has been adversely affected by short term volatility, although its low risk strategy has protected it somewhat from the downturn in the markets. Over one, three and five-year periods the trust's NAV has outperformed the FTSE SmallCap index, but over three months it has fallen short of beating its benchmark.
