six trusts have been shortlisted for the split cap award and judging is under way for investment week's annual ceremony at the savoy hotel

The shortlist for the split-cap award at this year's Investment Trust of the Year has been finalised, nominating six trusts. Those shortlisted in this category are Aberforth Split, Jupiter Split Trust, Lloyds Smaller Companies, Invesco Geared Opportunities, Schroder Split Fund and Jos Holdings. Those that have been selected in this category must complete a questionnaire by 29 October in order for the judges to complete the final stage of the awards process.
