A cautious start to the week left the FTSE 100 flat at mid morning trade on Monday. The index was up 3 points to 5296. BAA led the FTSE 100 fallers with a loss of 20p to 647p. The airport operator said it is hoping to raise £424m by selling convertible bonds maturing in 2008. Logica fared best amongst the FTSE 100 with a gain of 24p to 448p. US markets rose on Friday, the Dow Jones gained 90.09 to 10,607.23, to mark its fifth weekly gain.
