Artemis has restructured its sales channel and made five staff redundant. The redundancies, which are still in the consultation phase, include two sales positions, two broker support staff and one marketing assistant. Tony van Gool, sales director at Artemis, said the group needs to refocus following the merger of ABN Amro and Artemis last September. Meanwhile, the sales operation has been consolidated into one dedicated channel, removing the separation between regional and third-party distribution representatives. The redundancies leave Artemis with a seven-strong sales team.
