Berry Asset Management has sold a 45% stake in the company to Swiss private bank Bordier & Cie, as part of a strategic move to increase business potential and boost its position in the overseas private client market. Announcing the deal today, Jamie Berry, managing director of Berry Asset Management said the directors of the firm - himself and Neil Kennedy - will retain the remaining 55% of the company and use their new partnership to "open doors which were previously closed" because of their size.
