Since joining Scottish Widows 10 months ago, Graham Campbell has been revamping the part research plays in stock selection

Within 10 months of joining the Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) to take over £3bn of ailing UK portfolios, Graham Campbell is already making a difference to performance. Formerly of Edinburgh Fund Managers, Campbell arrived at SWIP in April last year. His largest remit is the giant £1.9bn Scottish Widows UK Growth fund, which had traditionally been a poor performer. Others in the range, and also under Campbell's management, include Scottish Widows Equity, Hill Samuel UK Select Growth, Abbey General, and Scottish Widows UK Equity Growth.
