The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) released its 2024 Financial Lives Survey in mid-May, which tracks the financial understanding, resilience and habits of UK adults. Within the report foreword, it was confirmed by the FCA that it will continue to undertake the survey every two years. The data from the reports should be of interest to advisers and providers, enabling them to further understand how consumers interact with financial services and where the primary barriers are to consumers being financially aware and comfortable.
