Private client trading activity has remained low, but 'hopeful signs' are emerging this group is once again buying into the market. According to the latest quarterly report on private investor activity by ComPeer - which is based on the APCIMS' 230 membership - execution-only and advisory clients bought shares more often than they sold during the third quarter of 2002.
