National adviser firm Park Row has reported an operating loss of £5.8m during 2008. The firm, owned by Royal Liver, reported the figures despite reducing its costs last year from £11.2m to £7.9m. The company released a statement which blamed the ongoing economic conditions for the situation. It also pointed out that it had lost qualified advisers last year which had adversely affected group turnover. However, Progress from Royal Liver reported that its new business premiums had increased by 19%, and it now had a 5% market share.
