Fintel CEO on platform joint venture and AI plans

Believes many current AI solutions will ‘soon become commoditised’

Fintel CEO Matt Timmins has said that its newly announced artificial intelligence (AI) platform comes as part of the firm’s aim to build AI directly into its core solutions.

Speaking to Professional Adviser, Timmins said the firm is "very well set up" for 2026, and part of this is its joint venture (JV) agreement with AI financial technology company Intellect Design Arena to launch an "AI-led" financial advisory platform in the UK. "AI capability is going to become increasingly important for all technology businesses and across all sectors, including financial advice and wealth management," he set out.
