Tatton IFA consolidator investment 'not a dilution' of its core business

Justine Randall on the firm’s ‘very clear’ decision not to become a consolidator

Tatton Investment Management (Tatton) chief commercial officer (CCO) Justine Randall has said that its investment into independent financial advice consolidator Absolute Financial Group is “not a dilution” of the firm’s core business.

Announced yesterday (12 August), Absolute Financial Group (Absolute) has entered the market with a £155m equity commitment from Inflexion Private Equity, Tatton and its management team. Tatton Asset Management and Perspective Financial Group founder Paul Hogarth is on board as Absolute non-executive chair. "It's a strategic investment, not a dilution of our core business," Tatton CCO Justine Randall told PA. "We're here to run investments and do that very well.
