IFAonline published a headline on Thusday 5th August suggesting Staffordshire-based mortgage broker Mike Cooke has been fined by the Office of Fair Trading for publishing misleading advertisements.
We wish to clarify Cooke was not fined - as suggested in the headline - but has complied with the OFT request to stop issuing advertisements which suggested the government will remove the consumer's right to buy their council house.
