Research by Cavendish Asset Management has found 66% of UK investors no longer feel confident putting money into the stock market following events at Enron and WorldCom. Some 47% of those questioned feel these scandals show that professionals in equity markets cannot be trusted while 25% believe the recent falls in the markets represent a buying opportunity.
