Six months ago, the CII announced the launch of Building a World Class Advisory Practice, the programme is said would "deliver increased strength and value in a UK advisory business". The development of the initiative, however, goes back about 18 months - the brainchild from an advisory panel meeting set up to provide the institute with an ongoing feedback loop of industry training needs. The advisory panel - individuals nominated by the Personal Finance Society (PFS) - told the CII which parts of thousands of points of feedback needed prioritising.
