In this week's video interview for PA's Investment Influencers series, where we chat to the most respected individuals who select funds, decide ratings or otherwise influence the allocation of investor fund flows, we hear from Nigel Waller of Oldfield Partners.

One of the founding partners of the firm, Waller is its chief investment officer, co-manages its global equity portfolios and contributes to overall investment selection. He was previously at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM) for 13 years, where he was latterly a director and portfolio manager on the global team. During his time at MLIM, Waller was also a member of the emerging markets and European teams in London and, from 1997 to 1999, the Asia team in Singapore and was part of the global team in 1994 when Oldfield Partners chairman Richard Oldfield was its head.
