How does Investment Solutions go about recruiting advisers? If we need to recruit at a more experienced level, we will use an agency but we like to focus on hiring from the bottom. The firm began a graduate trainee programme last year and, as that worked so well, we have hired another three graduates this year. We enjoy taking graduates through the process of training - from paraplanning to financial adviser status - and believe this has had a really positive effect.
