Brexit uncertainty rocked investor confidence in the months before and after the European Union (EU) referendum. Here are the top ten sectors and funds advisers turned to in July, according to FundsNetwork…

The UK's vote to leave the European Union in the 23 June referendum - shook the investment world, with the value of the pound plummeting and investors rushing to draw their cash from commercial property funds. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the short-term money market and UK money market sectors came out winners following the vote, according to data from platform FundsNetwork. The firm observed a similar trend in overall fund sales in the month, with three cash funds appearing in its bestsellers list.
