Personal loans Rates on personal loans have tumbled to as low as 4.5%, down from 6%, over the past 18 months, according to The Observer. The paper reports that M&S Bank, Clydesdale and Yorkshire banks, Derbyshire building society, AA, and Tesco Bank are all currently offering deals between 4.7% and 4.9%.
