In the current market environment, it is tempting to believe that good returns require complexity. Multi-managers have come up with increasingly esoteric ways to avoid exposure to standard equity and bond funds. Toby Ricketts shares the basic dilemma of many investors - where to find returns when the risk-free rate is so low - but has sought straightforward solutions in his Margetts Providence Strategy fund.
