Do you love a bit of Corrie but tend to channel-flick during the ad breaks? If you do, you might missed the Money Advice Service's (MAS's) new campaign to promote the importance of managing money.

The 'What does MA think?' campaign, which launched on Monday night, has the admirable - if optimistic - objective of encouraging millions of people to understand the importance of knowing what to do with their money. Financial advisers are not the MAS's intended audience, of course. You lot know a thing or two about managing money, so these ads are likely to be of no use to you. But they certainly won't bore you.
