It has been a little while since we looked at a mainstream provider in this column, but since our original subject asked for a little more time to get some new functionality live before going under the spotlight, let’s put that right. The recent launch of AXA Self Investor, the lifeco’s service for smaller and self-directed clients, has come as AXA is having a bit of a ‘moment’. Sales are up by 11%, assets on Elevate now sit at £4.3bn, and it just came top of the Platforum quarterly leaderboard for the first time.
