Not every adviser will be comfortable being rated by their clients but, as Mark Polson discovers, there's much to gain from signing up to VouchedFor.

The idea of high concept pitching is not one which is pervasive in financial services, and certainly not in wealth management. To be fair, you can understand why. "It's Jaws in space!" and "There's a bus with a bomb!" sound a bit more exciting than: "It's a pension with targeted investment functionality which, although a SIPP underneath, behaves like a personal pension if you don't use self-investment."
