Have recent changes to legislation been a help or hindrance to pension planning? Well, I suppose the answer is dependent in part on where you are along the path of retirement planning. The Budget stated that the state pension age will increase in the future to take into consideration increasing longevity. However, despite the uplift, for those who wish to retire early, the need for generous savings will only be greater.
