The DWP has begun its auto-enrolment (AE) communication campaign aimed at building a public understanding of how people will be affected by the changes. So it will not be long before employers start to get questions from their staff about AE. It is not long either until the first employees in the UK are sent their AE notification. The new rules for auto-enrolment will start to impact on large employers later this year, for some as early as July, although the legislation is not due to come into force until 1 October 2012.
