Your business is evolving to a fee only structure – but is this the end of life as we know it? No! But why would someone pay a fee if they could eliminate the middleman and deal directly on their own? It is human nature to want to get as much as you can and pay as little as possible. Why the transition to fees? You are an honest, ethical financial adviser and consider the best interests of your clients first. If you perform a valuable service and your clients realise that, they will probably be agreeable to paying reasonable fees. If they see you as an order taker, you have a problem. ...
