Well, that was interesting. Me and my colleague at Threesixty Services, Brod Whiting, have just returned from the Financial Planning Association (FPA) conference in San Diego. In all, there were around 2,500 planners at the conference, of which perhaps as many as 250 were not from the US. Which is mainly why we were there. Strangely for the US, the FPA conference is the most global of the planning conferences, so this was a unique opportunity to meet and compare notes with planners from 20 other countries in all, as well as participate in more formal panels and discussions.
