With the credit crunch now over one year old and with no end in sight, it is perhaps slightly pre-emptive to review its overall impact on the equity release market. However, in tracking the equity release sector over the past year we can see how it has been affected by these wider events. It is safe to say that equity release has not felt the pressure of the crunch as significantly as other sectors.
