Tim Eadon: 'I will lobby for Pfs members'

Lobbying on behalf of members and developing chartered financial planner status are some of the challenges Tim Eadon has set himself as chief executive of the Personal Finance Society.

Eadon, former head of Sesame Solutions, took up his new role on 5 June following the departure of Mark Ommanney at the end of March. He describes his first four weeks in the role as “extremely hectic”, but after a two-week holiday in Turkey he appears suitably refreshed to take on the challenge of establishing the Pfs as “the professional body for advisers”. His main objective for the Pfs will revolve around establishing, maintaining and improving the business standards of members, mainly through the publication of best practice guides.
