The Winterthur International Investment Bond is an offshore, unit-linked single-premium investment bond designed for medium- to long-term investment (at least five to 10 years). The bond offers two basic structures, either the Life Assurance Bond or the Capital Redemption Bond, which offer options according to individual needs. The International Investment Bond is sold through financial advisers and is aimed at high-net-worth individuals based in the UK with a minimum investment of £50,000, who may have particular needs for tax efficiency and flexibility.
