Over the last 10 years, the FTSE100 has just about doubled in value. As a result, adviser firms are cracking out the champagne and celebrating record highs in assets under management. There is a small fly in the ointment, however - are firms doing enough to attract a new generation of clients? It is a long-standing assumption among firms that family wealth will stay with them - that younger generations of wealthy families will inherit their parents' relationships and keep their savings in the same place.
