Poyntz-Wright joins annuity provider ahead of merger

Just Retirement Limited has appointed Nick Poyntz-Wright as non-executive director.

Poyntz-Wright was previously long-term savings and pensions director at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), where he had worked since 2011 (appointed when the regulator was the Financial Services Authority). In that role he was responsible for the supervision of life insurance and pension providers, financial advisers, wealth managers and private banks. He left following a reorganisation of top management at the FCA following the bungled handling of the regulator's closed book review.
