FOS names Caroline Wayman chief ombudsman and CEO

The Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) has named Caroline Wayman as its chief ombudsman and CEO, succeeding Natalie Ceeney.

Wayman, who has been with the organisation for almost 15 years, most recently as principal ombudsman and legal director, assumes her new role immediately. Former incumbent Natalie Ceeney (above) had stepped down in November last year after four years in the role. She later joined HSBC. FOS chairman Sir Nicholas Montagu said: "Caroline defines everything that is best about the ombudsman - and she will bring freshness, bold thinking and vigorous action to our plans for the future. "As chief ombudsman she will ensure the service stays relevant and attuned to the needs of our customers...
