Andy Burnham, Labour MP for Makerfield and "King of the North" to his supporters, has become the UK's latest Prime Minister. Working out what Burnham might do for pensions is tricky at this early stage of his premiership; Burnham kept his cards close to his chest during the weeks between Keir Starmer resigning and his coronation and has been reluctant to be drawn on policy commitments.
