You don't need me to tell you that the current hot topic among many clients is pensions and inheritance tax (IHT) – and how the new system might work in practice. It's a tricky time for advisers, because clients are understandably anxious about the impact that bringing pensions into the IHT net will have on their retirement plans and offspring's finances.
